1795 E Cornell – Whole-Home Refresh & Addition
The 1795 E Cornell project turned an existing single-family home into a more complete and livable property, inside and out.
What started as a full interior remodel became a broader transformation of the entire home experience. Sustainabuilt served as builder and interior designer, reworking the main living spaces, adding a new primary bedroom, renovating the kitchen and bathrooms, upgrading the basement, refreshing the exterior, and completing the property with new landscape and hardscape features.
The goal was not just to update finishes. It was to make the home feel more connected, more useful, and more enjoyable in everyday life. The finished result brings together added living space, improved function, refreshed curb appeal, and outdoor areas that extend how the home can be used.
Design & Build Highlights
- A Full Interior Transformation
The home was opened up for a complete interior remodel, allowing key spaces to be rebuilt around better function, updated finishes, and a more cohesive living experience. - A Primary Bedroom Addition
A new primary bedroom addition gave the home more room where it mattered most, expanding the private side of the house and improving the overall layout. - A Kitchen Made for Daily Living
The kitchen was renovated to better support everyday routines, gathering, and the flow of the home. As one of the most-used spaces, it became an important anchor for the remodel. - Three Updated Bathrooms
The bathroom renovations helped bring consistency, comfort, and improved usability throughout the home’s most practical spaces. - A Basement with New Purpose
The lower level was upgraded with a new bedroom, utility room, and wet bar, turning the basement into a more flexible extension of the home instead of secondary leftover space. - A Cleaner Exterior Presence
Updated cladding and trim helped refresh the home’s curb appeal and connect the exterior to the improvements happening inside. - Outdoor Living That Completes the Property
New landscaping and hardscaping helped turn the yard into a more finished and usable part of the home. Planting areas, sod, mulch, raised planters, concrete paths, a dining patio, corten steel edging, and a concrete seat wall created outdoor spaces that feel intentional and connected. - Future-Ready Planning
A solar option was included in the project planning, giving the home a path toward future energy-performance improvements.
