Sustainabuilt is a boutique design build general contractor and construction management firm serving residential and commercial clients across the Denver metro area. Our work is built around a simple idea: alignment.
We operate as your representative, guiding the entire lifecycle of your project from early design and preconstruction through permitting and construction. By integrating design, budgeting, and construction under one team, we create a single point of accountability and clear communication from start to finish.
Our business model is structured to keep our incentives aligned with yours. We charge a fixed fee for our management services and do not mark up finishes or materials. Whether it’s appliances, fixtures, or finish selections, you receive transparent pricing so decisions are based on value, not contractor margin.
This alignment extends beyond cost. It shapes how we approach sustainability. We view sustainability as the total resources used per square foot over time, including the embedded carbon within materials and the long-term performance of the building. Sustainable construction is not only about what is used, but how long it lasts.
By prioritizing durability, efficiency, and thoughtful design, we reduce the need for future renovations and minimize long-term resource consumption. This leads naturally to a focus on timeless design — spaces that remain functional, relevant, and well-performing for decades rather than requiring constant updates.
Our role is to help you make informed decisions, maintain control of your project, and deliver a well-executed result. We coordinate the design team, manage our network of trusted subcontractors, and oversee quality, schedule, and cost throughout the process.

As a Colorado-based and Veteran owned company, we take pride in building a culture and team that's committed to building a better tomorrow.
